Study-Genie offers three paid plans (Essential, Premium and Ultimate). Where you are eligible, the Essential plan may be preceded by a free 7-day trial period, for which no payment details are required; when that period ends, no amount is charged and the subscription only takes effect if you subscribe. For the Premium and Ultimate plans, where you are eligible, the subscription is preceded by a free trial period whose length is stated before activation. The trial requires a valid payment method on file; nothing is charged before the trial ends, and you may end it at any time before that date, free of charge, from your account. Unless cancelled, the chosen subscription starts automatically when the trial ends, at the price displayed at activation. Only one trial is granted per account, on the plan of your choice: activating the Essential trial ends eligibility for the Premium or Ultimate trial, and vice versa. The Premium or Ultimate trial is further limited to one per person, payment method and device.
Use of AI-assisted features is measured in credits: each study sheet, quiz, or flashcard generation, each chat message, and each text recognition consumes a number of credits that varies by operation. Credits can be used freely across eligible features.
Paid plans provide an allowance of credits calculated over a rolling seven-day window: the allowance rebuilds progressively as past usage falls out of that window. An additional limit applies over a window of a few hours, so that exceptionally intense use does not exhaust the allowance all at once. Credits are not cumulative and do not roll over.
Fair-use caps also apply per feature (study sheets and quizzes, AI tutor messages, flashcards, text recognition), assessed over the billing cycle.
The Essential plan provides a reduced volume of generations, messages, and text recognition, with shorter generations and limited document imports. The Essential plan is for personal use, on one signed-in device at a time; the Premium and Ultimate plans allow the account to be shared, within the number of simultaneously signed-in devices shown on the pricing page. During the trial period, the applicable volumes are those of the chosen plan. The volumes applicable to each plan are shown in the interface and on the pricing page before any purchase.
These limits may be adjusted to reflect changes in technical costs. Any significant reduction in the volumes included in a paid plan will be notified to you before it takes effect and will not apply to the period already paid for.
Some plans or features may remain subject to fair-use, abuse-prevention, or technical-protection mechanisms.
