Study-Genie is a digital education platform that allows users to upload learning materials and generate study sheets, quizzes, and AI-assisted educational outputs.

Study-Genie is hosted by Vercel, Inc.

Certain technical services used to operate the platform may rely on third-party providers, including infrastructure, database, authentication, payments, and AI processing providers.

Because Study-Genie relies on service providers and infrastructure that may operate in multiple jurisdictions, your data may be processed outside your country of residence, including outside the European Economic Area where applicable.

When required, we implement appropriate safeguards under applicable law.

We keep personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legitimate business and legal requirements.

By creating an account, accessing the Service, purchasing a plan, or using Study-Genie, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information when creating an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities carried out through your account.

You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a security incident affecting your account.

Study-Genie provides digital educational tools, including PDF-based generation of study sheets, quizzes, flashcards, and AI-assisted educational conversations.

AI-generated content is provided as a learning aid only. It may contain inaccuracies or omissions and must be reviewed by the user before academic, professional, or decision-making use.

You retain ownership of the content you upload or submit, including PDFs, prompts, text, and related materials.

You grant Study-Genie a limited, non-exclusive license strictly necessary to host, store, process, analyze, and display such content for the purpose of operating the Service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to use and submit the content you provide.

Study-Genie may offer free and paid plans.

Paid plans provide access to a defined number of non-cumulative credits for a billing cycle. Credits can be used flexibly by the user across eligible features, including study sheets and quizzes, according to the limits displayed at the time of purchase.

Unless otherwise stated, paid plans renew automatically every 28 days. Upon each successful renewal payment, a new cycle begins and a new credit pack is allocated for that cycle. Unused credits do not roll over and are not cumulative across cycles.

The free plan, where available, also follows the cycle rules displayed in the product interface.

Certain plans or features may remain subject to fair use, abuse prevention, or technical protection measures.

Prices, included credits, cycle duration, and plan characteristics are displayed before purchase.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Study-Genie does not store full payment card details.

If a payment fails or is reversed, we may suspend access to paid features until the situation is resolved.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid plans renew automatically every 28 days.

You may cancel renewal from your account area. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not delete your account immediately.

To avoid being charged for the next cycle, cancellation must be submitted at least 14 days before the next renewal date.

If cancellation is validly submitted, your account and remaining access continue until the end of the already paid cycle. Credits already allocated for the current cycle remain available until that cycle ends, subject to the applicable plan limits.

Where mandatory law grants a right of withdrawal, that right applies only within the limits and conditions of the applicable law.

As a general product rule of Study-Genie:

By purchasing a digital plan and requesting immediate access to the Service, the user acknowledges that the Service begins immediately after purchase and that rights related to withdrawal or refund may be limited or lost where permitted by applicable law.

Study-Genie uses only cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for operation, authentication, account security, session maintenance, and enforcement of session-related rules, including limits on concurrent sessions.

Study-Genie does not use uploaded content for advertising or profiling. Non-essential cookies may be introduced later only if lawfully disclosed and, where required, accepted.

We use reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or loss-free operation.

The Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance, updates, technical changes, or security reasons.

The Service, including its software, interfaces, branding, structure, databases, and original platform content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited rights necessary to use the Service, no ownership rights are transferred to the user.

We may suspend or restrict access to all or part of the Service in the event of serious breach, abuse, repeated payment failure, legal obligation, or security risk.

Some data may be retained after suspension or termination where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or security purposes.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Study-Genie shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, immaterial, commercial, or data-loss damages arising from the use of the Service.

Users remain responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs and for how they use them.

These Terms are governed by the law designated by applicable conflict-of-law rules, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply in the user's country of residence.

Before formal proceedings, the parties will seek an amicable resolution where possible.
